Mota-Engil ATIV was present at the 4th edition of the REN Suppliers Meeting, dedicated to the theme:
“Commitment, Collaboration and Action on Sustainability in the Supply Chain.”
ATIV’s participation in this initiative represents the recognition of the joint work with REN, reinforcing the commitment to solutions that support Clients in their journey towards decarbonization and environmental restoration.
Mota-Engil ATIV is responsible for fuel management in the Easement Strips of the National Transmission Network Lines and REN’s Natural Gas Pipelines — an essential service to ensure infrastructure safety and compliance with current legislation under the Integrated Rural Fire Management System (SGIFR).

uring the session, the urgency of assessing climate risk and implementing adaptation measures was highlighted, as part of a joint effort to mitigate the impacts of climate change outlined in the adaptation roadmap through 2100.
The idea was reinforced that sustainability in the supply chain depends on the active involvement of all suppliers — and ATIV is committed to walking side by side with its partners, turning plans into action.
“I think this mutual commitment is essential, because we can only reduce our footprint by walking side by side with suppliers,” said Joana Oliveira, Director of Carbon Sequestration and Mitigation.
Participation in this meeting reflects ATIV’s ongoing commitment to anticipating challenges, sharing knowledge, and creating value in a collaborative and responsible manner.
