Fundamental Accident Prevention Actions

In alignment with the GOLDEN RULES of the Mota-Engil Group, ATIV continues to conduct visits to various contracts, reinforcing the importance of this topic.

As part of the Management Site Visits Program, which aims to raise awareness for the prevention of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks and reduce accidents, Mota-Engil ATIV continues to conduct visits to various contracts, reinforcing the importance of this topic.

Promoted and monitored by the Management/Administration, in alignment with the GOLDEN RULES of the Mota-Engil Group, the main objectives are communication, awareness, and sharing of best practices in OHS and the environment, as well as identifying and reporting hazardous conditions and unsafe acts, and encouraging worker participation, thereby strengthening a culture of safe and healthy work.

Taking advantage of the themed month dedicated to the knowledge of Facility Management (FM), Industry, and Construction areas, visits were made to the contracts of RTP, Vodafone, and Parque Ribeirinho de Vila Franca de Xira.

The Site Inspections are conducted in the presence of all contract or worksite employees, starting with a Safety Moment focused on accidents and/or other relevant topics related to promoting occupational health and safety and the environment, followed by the monitoring of Work and Teams (Internal and Subcontracted).

At the end, a report is generated, documenting the actions carried out during the visit, as well as any deviations and improvement opportunities identified.

Occupational health and safety can only be strengthened with the participation of everyone. Mota-Engil ATIV aims to unite efforts so that in 2025, we can improve our performance in this area.
