Designed to end the isolation of the country’s interior and significantly improve traffic and mobility conditions in the region, the Douro Interior subconcession includes two road axes: IC5 – between Murça/Alijó and Miranda do Douro – and IP2 – between Bragança and Guarda.
With a total length of 242 km, including 20 km of motorway, these two road axes improve accessibility to the region’s main municipalities, connecting the districts of Vila Real, Bragança, and Guarda.
