The 14-month project includes a variety of interventions on Av. D. Nuno Álvares Pereira, including the refurbishment of sidewalks, creation of properly marked accesses and crosswalks, accessible pavements, creation of green areas and tree planting, new urban furniture, replacement of the supply and sanitation network, and implementation of an automatic irrigation system for landscaped areas.
A relatively significant component, framed within urban furniture, was the implementation of the buried Urban Solid Waste (RSU) system, contributing to more efficient management of waste produced in the intervened area.
The trees from our works aim to respect local heritage and culture, integrating sustainable practices with a positive impact on the environment and society in general.”
