“Portugal in Opera: Myths, Heroes, and Traditions” by the Youth Symphony Orchestra took place on December 7 at the Aula Magna of the University of Lisbon, with the support of ATIV.
The Opera Gala is part of the Music Program at the University of Lisbon and is always one of the most anticipated moments for music lovers.
In this 23rd edition, the Youth Symphony Orchestra was once again accompanied by the Choir of the University of Lisbon and the Chamber Choir of the Gregorian Institute of Lisbon.
Founded in 1973, the Youth Symphony Orchestra is today recognised as a fundamental institution in the Portuguese music-pedagogical panorama with the mission of training young musicians with high standards and professionalism.
Mota-Engil ATIV wanted to join and support, once again, an initiative that works towards the teaching and promotion of music.
