WORKSHOP: “Myths and Truths About Healthy Eating”

Mota-Engil ATIV organized the workshop “Myths and Truths About Healthy Eating,” in partnership with the Lisbon School of Health Technology, with the primary goal of debunking food-related “myths” and increasing knowledge and adherence to healthy eating habits.

The workshop was part of the international project, “Tool4MEDLife – From Tradition to Innovation: New Foods and Educational Toolkits for a Healthy and Sustainable Mediterranean Lifestyle,” which aims to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle inspired by the Mediterranean way of life.

At a European level, also involving Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Croatia, the project in Portugal is being developed by the team of nutritionists from the Lisbon School of Health Technology – Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon.

During the workshop, Mota-Engil ATIV employees had the opportunity to clarify their questions about nutrition and diet in an interactive conversation, where they were challenged to test their knowledge of various food products.

This action reflects Mota-Engil ATIV’s commitment to promoting health and sustainability among its employees, aligning with the Organization’s values of operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Following this initiative, participate in the survey aimed at gathering information on adherence to the Mediterranean Diet, culinary skills, perceptions of health and nutritional status, knowledge of the Mediterranean Diet, as well as sociodemographic information.
