ATEC is a Training Academy dedicated to the development of financed vocational training courses for young people and adults and continuous vocational training for active employees.<\/p>\n\n

The Business Fair is a moment of excellence in promoting contact between future professionals and employers, and in bringing young trainees closer to the needs of the labour market, significantly boosting their employability.<\/p>\n\n

ATIV was one of the exhibiting companies that are part of ATEC’s set of partners for hosting Practical Training in a Work Context (internship). In the exhibition space, the companies with their own stand, took the opportunity to be a space for interaction and networking with final-year trainees from the most diverse training areas.<\/p>\n\n

“The main goal is to get the company to become familiar with these training schools for technicians, create partnerships, establish contacts and become known by these new generations, so that they become interested in ATIV and submit applications,” underlined Francisco Ramos from the Human Resources department of Mota-Engil ATIV.<\/p>\n\n

“On the other hand, I also see this participation as an opportunity for us to understand what are the best practices and policies in use by other organisations that compete directly with us in recruiting this type of profile, which will allow us to carry out a more thoughtful reflection on our positioning and in what ways we can try to be more attractive to these young people and succeed in taking on interns, creating greater proximity with ATEC and being a reference brand for these students,” he added.<\/p>\n\n

At the end of the two-day fair, Francisco Ramos made a very positive balance, revealing that “this is one of the most important sources of recruitment to explore, we already had good expectations and I believe that despite being the first participation, we managed to generate a very positive perception with ATEC and its trainees, being this employer branding<\/em> strategy fundamental”.<\/p>\n\n
