The redevelopment of Rua do Cais, located in the heart of the city on the right bank of the Gil\u00e3o River, was carried out by Mota-Engil ATIV, with the aim of promoting better accessibility and mobility conditions.<\/p>\n\n

The work consisted of improving the railings along the river wall, as well as replacing paving and street furniture. It also included replacing the public lighting with sound lighting in the Bandstand Garden and pedestrian platform, providing not only more modern and efficient lighting, but also creating a sound atmosphere that enriches the experience of citizens and visitors to the area.<\/p>\n\n

The project also included the expansion of the pedestrian platform connecting the garden to the Mercado da Ribeira, the formalization of access to the Gil\u00e3o Bridge, the redefinition of the road layout, and the underground installation of electrical infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n

For the Tavira City Council, this intervention represents another step in the improvement of the entire riverside front of the city, for which ATIV’s contribution is crucial in revitalizing the spaces, enhancing their utility and quality of life.<\/p>\n\n
