{"id":10742,"date":"2024-06-05T17:11:11","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T17:11:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/2024\/06\/05\/health-and-safety-at-work-highlighted-at-ativ\/"},"modified":"2024-06-11T08:37:12","modified_gmt":"2024-06-11T08:37:12","slug":"health-and-safety-at-work-highlighted-at-ativ","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/en\/2024\/06\/05\/health-and-safety-at-work-highlighted-at-ativ\/","title":{"rendered":"Health and Safety at Work highlighted at ATIV"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, promoting awareness and prevention, a set of activities dedicated to the theme took place on May 15, with the participation of about 100 employees.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event took place simultaneously at the Alverca and Modivas websites and included the sharing of information about accident indicators and some ongoing initiatives, as well as the implementation of a set of local activities with the collaboration of all participants.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cBuilding a Safety Culture\u201d was the message left by the administration that opened the session, reinforcing the importance of minimizing accidents, acting in prevention.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" data-id=\"10604\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/SST_Alverca.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10604\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/SST_Alverca.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/SST_Alverca-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" data-id=\"10608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/SST_Alverca_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10608\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/SST_Alverca_.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.ativ.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/SST_Alverca_-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n<p>\u201cH\u00e9lio Loureiro, Safety, Health and Environment Manager of the Mota-Engil Group, also participated, presenting the Group\u2019s strategic lines for 2024 in terms of SST prevention.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>Mental Health was also a topic addressed, within the scope of the Mota-Engil Group\u2019s Wellness Program, and the results of the psychosocial risk assessment survey at ATIV, carried out at the end of 2023, were presented.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this sharing, energized by the Wellness Manager of the Mota-Engil Group &#8211; Adoption of the best postures in manual load handling and the selection of suitable support means; Knowing and sharing the Golden Rules; Identifying and signaling unsafe acts and dangerous conditions; What to do in case of an accident and in an emergency context.<\/p>\n\n<p>Health and safety is only possible with everyone\u2019s participation.
