The rehabilitation of a 123-metre-long hydraulic passage with a diameter of 1200mm on the motorway linking Viana do Castelo to Valença, the A28, is nearing completion.
This rehabilitation methodology proved to be the most appropriate in what was the first contract for the Autoestradas do Norte Litoral (North Coast Freeways), overcoming some technical difficulties, namely the flow rate, the state of internal mechanical wear, the length and geometry of the infrastructure.
