The excessive use of natural resources and the alteration of natural cycles have had serious repercussions on climate change, making it urgent to take mitigation measures to protect the environment.
In this sense, Mota-Engil ATIV has invested in the development of innovative technologies and projects that allow the optimization and proper management of water resources, as is the case of DRYJECT + SAP, which has been very effective in reducing the water footprint associated with the maintenance of various green spaces, with savings that can reach over 50%.
With the goal of significantly reducing irrigation consumption, more and more customers from north to south of the country are coming to Mota-Engil ATIV, requesting the application of SAP with DryJect technology in different urban green spaces and lawns.
One of the applications was carried out in the Major Rosa Bastos Garden, for the Loures Parish Council.
Joaquim Gonçalves, responsible for the Agriculture and Sustainability area of Mota-Engil ATIV underlines the importance of using this technology in improving the sustainability of lawn areas and is pleased with the results obtained.
